Where this comes from

This person is not in the family's file. They exist here because an act names them, and this archive has read it. The register gives their trade as bracciale. The reading is Macchia, Morti 1837 atto 44, 1838 atto 58 and 1849 atto 73, read in the original; Giarre, Nati 1821 atto 58 (Tavola). Nothing on this page comes from Michael's export, which never held them — so there is no tree account here to agree or disagree with, and the pieces the export arrived in do not include them. No record has been read for this person. What is known of them is what the tree asserts, and it is unverified.

Others of the same name

These three towns repeat their names relentlessly — this archive holds four men called Rosario Mazza and four called Giuseppe Arena. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one. Why →

Why this person is here

A DIFFERENT SALVADORE from the one who married Giuseppa Strano and died in 1838: this one was alive and named as a living father in October 1838 and in 1849. His wife is Anna Costa; the same couple appear at Giarre in 1821 (Nati atto 58, Catarina). Three children died at Milo: Teresa (1837), Venera (1838) and Rosario (1849). MACCHIA, a comune beside Giarre later absorbed into it; the place is filed under Giarre because Macchia and its hamlets Milo and Dagala are not on the map.
