Born at SANT'ALFIO, living at Milo; married SALVADORE VASTI, 28, of Dagala, son of the late Giuseppe Vasti and Maria Gulisano, in January 1851 (promise 4 January, church 12 January). The first child known of this household, and the only one of five who lived to marry beside Maria. MACCHIA, a comune beside Giarre later absorbed into it; filed under Giarre because Macchia, Milo and Sant'Alfio are not on the map.
