What the record says
Where this comes from
This person is not in the family's file. They exist here because an act names them, and this archive has read it. The register gives their trade as contadino. The reading is Giarre, Nati 1820 atto 228 and 1821 atto 191, both read in the original. Nothing on this page comes from Michael's export, which never held them — so there is no tree account here to agree or disagree with, and the pieces the export arrived in do not include them. No record has been read for this person. What is known of them is what the tree asserts, and it is unverified.

Why this person is here
A SECOND ROSARIO NICOTRA AT GIARRE, found 17 October 2026 by opening two acts the sweep had only listed. Domiciled in the contrada of S. GIOVANNI (BATTISTA), a contadino, with a wife Paola Previtera of the same age bracket (28) and two daughters registered a year apart. HE IS A CANDIDATE FOR THE ROSARIO OF THE SIMONE LINE AND NOTHING MORE: his acts name no parents, and the arithmetic is against it — born about 1794 he would be six years older than the Rosario of 1890 («novanta circa»), and Marianna Daidone, Simone's wife, was «quaranta» in April 1820 and would have been fourteen at his birth. The 1872 certificate gives Giovanni Nicotra's mother as VENERA MURABITO, not Paola Previtera, so if he is the same man Paola would have to have died and Venera been a second wife. NOT LINKED; no marriage, death or later child has been found for him.
