Where this comes from

This person is not in the family's file. They exist here because an act names them, and this archive has read it. The register gives their trade as contadina. The reading is Macchia, Morti 1841 atto 25, read in the original; Macchia, Nati 1837 atto 93 (Tavola; the day is not secured). Nothing on this page comes from Michael's export, which never held them — so there is no tree account here to agree or disagree with, and the pieces the export arrived in do not include them. Others of the same name

These three towns repeat their names relentlessly — this archive holds four men called Rosario Mazza and four called Giuseppe Arena. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one. Why →

Why this person is here

Born and living at Milo. The Tavola gives the date as the 13th, which is the registration; she died on the 12th. MACCHIA, a comune beside Giarre later absorbed into it; the place is filed under Giarre because Macchia and its hamlets Milo and Dagala are not on the map. Birth Tavola of 1837 lists a Rosario/Rosaria of this couple at atto 93, about August 1837; the death act of 1841 says four years, so one of the two is loose.
