This person is not in the family's file. They exist here because an act names them, and this archive has read it. The reading is Giarre, Morti 1842 atto 189, read in the original. Nothing on this page comes from Michael's export, which never held them — so there is no tree account here to agree or disagree with, and the pieces the export arrived in do not include them. Why this person is here
Named as «FU GIUSEPPE» in his son Alfio's death act, so dead by December 1842. THE OLDEST NICOTRA GENERATION REACHED AT GIARRE BY A DEATH ACT. If Simone Nicotra is his son too, this is Simone's parentage — THAT IS NOT PROVED, and the Giarre Morti sweep of 1820-1860 holds no Giuseppe Nicotra as a decedent, so he probably died before civil registration began in 1820 and is parish-only. GIARRE HELD SEVERAL GIUSEPPE NICOTRAS and they must not be merged: a Giuseppe x Rosaria Misano, a D. Giuseppe x D. Gioachina Caltabiano, a Giuseppe x Carmela Coco, and the Giuseppe born about 1797 who married Rosa Cattabiano in 1820. Generation is inferred from birth year against SIMONE NICOTRA, who is gen 7 and born about 1776. NOBODY HERE IS ATTACHED TO THE TREE; the number places them in time, not in the descent.
