ANGELA CRUPI'S BROTHER, and new to this archive. His Queensland death registration of 1961 names FRANCESCO CRUPI and MARIA VECCHIO -- the same parents as hers. Angela married Rosario Mazza and lies at Nudgee; her brothers were in Queensland too, and nobody here knew it. HE CAME WITH ANTONINO. Both brothers arrived in Brisbane on the OTRANTO on 19 AUGUST 1930, Pietro entered as born 1898 and Antonino as born 1907. AND HE HAS NO ALIENS CARD FOR A REASON: NAA: BP4/3 ITALIAN CRUPI P records «Alien Registration Certificate NOT ISSUED», the folio noting that he was NATURALISED 23 FEBRUARY 1932. By 1939 he was a British subject and outside the series. The absence is explained, not unexplained.
