Where this comes from
1 of the 2 relationships drawn above have been proved by a record this archive has read. The other 1 come from Michael Mazza's family tree and have not.
1 record has been read about them:
- Pizzo, Nati 1814, atto 285; Pizzo morti colerici 1837, atto 327; Briatico, Matrimoni 1849, atto 1 — documented addition
Twenty-seven when her son was born in April 1814, so born about 1787. WIDOWED BY THE CHOLERA on the last night of 1837 and still living at Pizzo in June 1849, when her son married eleven kilometres away at Briatico. SHE IS IN THE FAMILY TREE, dated 1789 and married to Antonino Prostamo; this archive said for a time that she was not in it at all, which was wrong and is corrected here. What the Briatico act of 1849 adds is her widowhood, her town and her age.
Where the two disagree, the chart above still draws the tree as it stands. This archive does not silently rewrite what it was given — the acts are here.
