Gaetano Bonanno
Of Piedimonte Etneo.
No family record in this archive names this person — not as a child, not as a spouse, not as a parent. They are held here because the tree holds them, and no relationship of theirs is recorded to draw.
This person is not in the family's file. They exist here because an act names them, and this archive has read it. The register gives their trade as bracciale (day labourer). The reading is Piedimonte Etneo, Nati 1843 atto 101; Matrimoni 1871 atto 14; Piedimonte Etneo, Matrimoni allegati 1871, fascicolo 14 -- «CERTIFICATO di seguita pubblicazione di matrimonio senza opposizione», 16 April 1871. Nothing on this page comes from Michael's export, which never held them — so there is no tree account here to agree or disagree with, and the pieces the export arrived in do not include them. Why this person is here
Leonarda Bonanno's father. The archive had only the bare first name 'Gaetano', from a marriage proclamation of 1910; he is now in two registers with his surname, his trade and his age. ENTIRELY ABSENT FROM THE FAMILY TREE. ALIVE ON 16 APRIL 1871: «figlia del VIVENTE GAETANO, professione bracciante, residente anche ivi», in his daughter Leonarda's publication certificate. Aged about sixty-four and still at Piedimonte.
