Where this comes from

2 of the 5 relationships drawn above have been proved by a record this archive has read. The other 3 come from Michael Mazza's family tree and have not.

1 record has been read about them:

What a register says about this person, which the tree does not.

The fourth generation, carried as UNTESTED until 14 September 2026 and now documented four times over. A MARINARO like his father and his son. He died at two in the morning on the last night of 1837 and his death is entered in Pizzo's SEPARATE REGISTER OF CHOLERA DEATHS, atto 327 — which is why the ordinary Morti volumes do not hold him. IN THE FAMILY TREE as antonino-prostamo-1785, where he is dated 1785 and given Pasquale Prostamo and a «Caterina Di Meio» as parents; the Pizzo register calls that same wife CATERINA MAJO.

Where the two disagree, the chart above still draws the tree as it stands. This archive does not silently rewrite what it was given — the acts are here.

Others of the same name

These three towns repeat their names relentlessly — this archive holds four men called Rosario Mazza and four called Giuseppe Arena. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one. Why →
