THE FATHER OF TWO ARENA GROOMS AND NOT OURS. His son ROCCO married Domenica Costa on 10 June 1821 and his son FRANCESCO married Concetta Palermo on 13 December 1833; both entries give the mother as VITTORIA FIORENZA, which is what makes them brothers. The 1833 entry writes «fu Santo», so he was dead by then; the 1821 entry's father's name is cut by the page edge and this is what supplies it. NO CONNECTION TO ORAZIO ARENA IS CLAIMED -- Scilla holds at least seven Arena households in this period.
